Friday Favorite: Pepper

If any of you have watched my most recent video showing the damage of hurricane Irene. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7p_aH1pY5o you might have seen the special little pest who popped up in the backround for her 5 seconds of fame. It was my cat Pepper, so I thought what better than to feature her as my Friday Favorite. A few months after my cat Misty had passed away me and my family decided to visit a local shelter to adopt a new cat. When we went into the room where the cats were, there were so many I didn't know how we would choose. As I was walking around peering in the cages I felt something tickle my leg. I looked down and saw a paw sticking out of the lower cage trying to grab at my leg. I looked down and saw an adorable grey and white kitten. As i continued to walk around looking, she would reach for my leg each time I passed by. I took her out of the cage and cuddled her little fury body close to my chest, she purred loud as could be and reached up and touched my face with her paw. By that point I was in love and there was no turning back, so the next day instead of going to school I was bringing home a cute little kitten.
My family told me I could name her since I had been the one to discover her I decided to name her Salt & Pepper since she was grey and white. But we eventually shortened her name to Pepper. She was a very playful kitten and had a large head. Funny thing is as her body grew her head never grew and now amongst my friends I'm known to have a cat with a little head. She is extremely cuddly but at the same time a fiesty little thing. Her and my other cat are like two peas in a pod where as SHE beats up my dog. I love her alot and she is definatley my favorite little grey and white cat.

My Week Monday

Hey girls heres my week because it is already thursday I'll just lie out my plans for the weekend.

Friday: I have a meeting at 2 o'clock to set up my schooling because this year I am going to be homeschooled. I will probablly sun bathe the rest of the day, I'm trying to soak up as much sun as I can before the summer ends. As far as videos are concerned I am going to film a review of my favorite eyeliners and demonstrate how to apply pencil, gel, and liquid liner. And as for a blog post I have a little suprise Favorite for you girls:)

Saturday: My Aunt works at a pool a few cities over so I am going to spend the day down there, baking in the sun. I'm thinking of doing a review of my favorite eyeshadow pencils to wear as a base. And for my blogpost rather than do a someup because theres not much to someup from the week since it's all explained in my Hurricane Irene Damage video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7p_aH1pY5o I am going to do a nailpolish review.

Sunday: Their is a fair a few hours from my house which me and a few of my Best Girlfriends are going to go to. Hopefully Saturday night I will be going shopping and have a haul video to post for all of you. And I will be doing a "Stylish Sunday" post on how to decorate your room so that it feels like fall.

Ok girls that's all that I have planned for the weekend.

Stylish Sunday: Hot Shoes for Fall 2011

Hey girls so Fall is approaching fast. I love fall because I love the shoe trends that come with it. So i thought I'd share a few of my favorite fall shoe trends for this fall.
The first shoe trend I'm in love with for this fall is suede. Now you really can't go bad with a good suede shoe. From stilettos to boots I absolutely love suede. Just make sure not to wear them in the rain. Below I've posted some photos of two of my favorite suede shoes that I own.

This pair of suede spumps are by Bamboo. This particular style is no longer sold on the website but be sure to check out their website, they have amazing heels and they are all under $50! http://bambooshoesbrand.com/store/
I like to wear these pumps with cute lace tights and a skirt or on a chillier day, with my dark skinny jeans.

This suede boot is by Apt. 9. This particular style is no longer sold but they do have a similar boot for sale. http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/landingpages/apt9/shoes/womensshoes/PRD~832331/Apt+9+Midcalf+Boots.jsp
I like to wear these boots with skinny jeans or jeggings and a flowy top.

The next trend in shoes for Fall 2011 is satin. Now satin heels are usually more towards the dressy side so I only wear my satin heels when going out to a formal occasion.

These satin pumps are by Pulse. This particular style is no longer availiable but they do have a style that is extremely similar, except it lacks the ruffles.
I like to wear these heels with a cocktail dress, especially since the heel isn't to high.

The last shoe trend I'm loving for Fall is buckles. Buckles can really add some demension to a basic shoe. I especially love this look on ankle boots.

These ankle boots are from Candies. Check out Khols to see other Candies shoes, unfortunately this style is no longer available.

Why I've Been M.I.A

Hey girls as many of you may have heard this past weekend there was a hurricane that swept the East Coast. And if you don't already know this I live on the East coast so I was affected by it. Thank God my family and house was ok but as for my power, it was out for 4 days, my cellphone service was out for 2, and my internet was out until today. Therefore I will be posting all of my weeks blog posts I had planned today. Hope all of you that were affected by hurricane Irene are ok.
